I Love Ewe!

I finished the lamb baby quilt! There is no ivy in my version of this quilt, so I am calling it "I Love Ewe". I wasn't going to post a photo until I had given it to the new parents, but I have no idea when that is going to happen. They probably won't read my blog anyway. So here it is! I'm happy with how it turned out. And I got it finished before the new baby graduates from college!!!

  3. That is so cute. So no "little lambs eat ivy" on your quilt? That rhyme was the first thing I thought of when you said you didn't put the ivy on it. I love the colors you used and I'm sure the baby will love touching all of the sheep.

  8. Hetty,

Out loud I said: "Gosh, Wow. How does she do that."

I'm impressed with you - again. I think the effort, yes, but also how you pieced the heart sashing. I really love that and can't imagine how you did it - although I did sit and study that. I'm interested. In YOUR quilt. :)

  10. Wasn't this quilt in Fons and Porter's baby quilts magazine? I had a quilt of my own published in that magazine and I seem to remeber this one from that magazine, too. Nice!
