My Entry for the Blogger's Quilt Festival

This is my entry in the Blogger's Quilt Festival that Park City Girl is hosting. The pattern is called 'Ribbon Star'. All the fabrics are Christmas fabrics. It is hand pieced and machine quilted. I made this for a raffle at the school where my DD teaches. It's an inner city school and there is always a need for more funds to buy books for the library, computers and other classroom supplies. I wanted to help make some of these thing happen.

The raffle took place at the Winter Concert. I was in the audience when the winner was picked. In fact, she was sitting right beside me! It was wonderful to see her happy smile when they called her name! It made me feel good too.
