Oh, My! What is this? A New Project?

I just love, love, love hexies.  Did I tell you that already?  Yeah, I guess I have.  I am still working on the red hexie quilt.  But I wanted something new to work on at my Tuesday morning friendship group.  It has to be handwork, so I started this new quilt to work on on Tuesday mornings.

Sorry this is not a very good photo.  I will show you more after I have prepped a few more hexies.

We had a lovely Family Christmas.  On Christmas Day my DD and DS and William came over for dinner.  Then on Sunday our entire family got together at DD's house for turkey dinner.  It was delicious!  We all had a great time.

It has been warm until Monday.  Last Christmas Eve day William wanted to walk around the school where he plays at the Early Learning Program.  It was 16C.  And he took advantage of every degree. Here he is running around through the gardens and grassy areas.  It was difficult to get him on film because he was so fast.  He kept running out of the shot.

Then on Monday we had our first winter storm.  There was a bit of everything - frozen ice pellets, freezing rain, snow, rain and strong winds.  It lasted all night and was not nice.  I was awake for most of it because I kept hearing things crash against my house.  I love winter, but not when it comes like this.  One thing at a time, please.

I want to wish all of you a very Healthy and Happy New Year!

It's been a long time since I last blogged.  I just didn't have anything to post.  Looking after my sweet William is a full time job.  And I can't believe it is Christmas already tomorrow.  Our temperatures are out of this world.  It is 14C.  They say it is warmer than Los Angeles.  The sun is shining, but it is very windy.

I knitted a sweater for William.  It is a bit big, but it should fit him soon.

The tree is up and the decorations have been added.  A stately Santa and his wife are guarding it.  I made these a few years ago, but I don't think I ever showed them to you.

I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!
