It's nearly the end of November! The trees are bare. It gets dark at 5:00pm now. We have had rain on most days. It's getting cold. I can't get out on my scooter anymore. So.... no photos, nothing wonderful anyways. Only this street light taken on a clear day last week.

No warmth, no cheerfulness, no healthful ease,
No comfortable feel in any member -
No shade, no shine, no butterflies, no bees,
No fruits, no flowers no leaves, no birds -
November!

Pretty blue sky :)
ReplyDeleteI quite like that shot, with the streetlamp stretching towards the clouds.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blue sky with fluffy clouds..I love it.
ReplyDeleteThe weather sounds so familiar. Lovely shot.
ReplyDeleteFunny quote about November being full of No's but we know better there is always all kinds of interesting things to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteReally enjoyed visiting your blog space today, my family live in TO so I get to visit often and take in some of the local arts and crafts opportunities.
I hear you on that one. Yes it does seem as if everything is gone.
ReplyDeleteI think your feathery clouds are quite lovely, and the street light makes a nice composition.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cloud formation you framed. The street light is tricky deviation that manages to catch our attention.
ReplyDeleteHi Hetty!
ReplyDeleteit's very beautiful!
In Tokyo it rains lot, too these days.
It's always cold at work.
Because we keep 20 20 degrees.
We call it " Warm Biz " and we make efforts

So I wear thick tights always!
That street light looks as if it's growing up towards the blue sky. A cheerful shot for a dark time.
ReplyDeleteI would wish you better weather. However, the lonely little light post make a very nice showing for today. Glad you were warm enough to stop by place.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you can’t go on your scooter anymore.
ReplyDeleteLove the picture, you can feel the crispy air!
Pretty sky, especially for November!
ReplyDeleteYou asked me where I find my pretty sunsets. When I see one I take many photos. ;-) Lately, though, I confess it has been the sunrises that have been magnificent here north of Toronto. I just wish they lasted longer...not just a few minutes.
very interesting photo!
ReplyDeleteIt almost looks like the street light is a big shower-head and it is has just finished sprinkling clouds down on you!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilts, cats and the blue sky. Thanks for commenting on my blog.
ReplyDeleteHello! Thanks for your visit and I love your shot, the blue sky is also welcome to me. But you should stick with 'if you would like to see more photos' not 'better photos'!
ReplyDeleteYou should get in your car, or on a bus/ train, you get the idea, and go to the forests where leaf cover persists and dose up on some colour.
Happy week to you, bye for now!
Oh Hetty, I didn't suggest the trip out to get better pictures just to give you a boost in this cold and bleak month. Your pictures are wonderful, truly!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry that it came across like that!
Thanks for your return visit and I am glad you enjoyed the jokes. Bye for now and I'll be back!
