Slow Stitching Sunday

Today is a gorgeous day.  It is not so hot and there is lots of sunshine.  But it we could get a thunderstorm this afternoon.  Only a 40% chance though.  If it does rain, I think I will work on my hexie quilt.  Haven't done much on this one for a couple of weeks.  I really enjoy it when I have time to add a few more hexies!

I am linking up with Slow Stitching Sunday at Kathy Quilts.  Hope we get lots of rain, so that I can work on my hexies!

Trip Around the World

I was finally able to take a photo of my Trip Around the World top.  Now that I look at it, I think I could have made it bigger. I think it is a twin size right now and I could have made it into a queen.  But since I am still sleeping in my hospital bed it will be just right for me.

William is photo bombing my picture.

He loves riding his tricycle around.

So I think I will call this a finish.  Hopefully I can quilt it myself.  If I can't I will send it out to my longarmer.  Now I have to find myself another UFO to work on.  Don't worry.  I have lots of them.  The hard part is figuring out which one to choose.

Slowing Down

It is too hot!  And Dry!  So I am slowing down and joining Kathie's Quilts, Slow Stitching Sunday.  I will be working on my hexies.  I need to get back to these.  Haven't worked on them for a long time.  I know I promised photos of my TAW, but I have to slow down first.  Here is my hexie top.

Lots of colour and lots of opportunities to use up leftovers.

I am following William's example.  Just lazing around in the pool.  Ahhhh!  That feels good.

My Camera Works Now

My son came over and we tried some different things to make my camera and computer talk to each other again.  And it worked.  Now I have to take some photos of my quilt endeavors.  But that will have to wait until I have someone to assist me.  That TAW is very big and I can't hold it and photograph it.  So for now I will post a couple of photos of William.  We took him to Centre Island and he had a blast!

Chasing the gulls.

Riding the ponies.

Driving the fire truck.

I am so happy that things are working again.   I will post my quilting progress as soon as I can.
