Stuff - Sewing as Fast as I Can

My machine is in the shop, getting a tune-up and other things.  I miss her.  Have been doing some handwork and made a few March blocks from the #qmbittyblocks on an old machine that was sitting in my basement.

Also made the Hexie Blog's hexie project for March.  This block is not done.  It looks kind of crooked, but that is because it has not been appliqued yet.

And last, but not least is my turtle block from the Elephants on Parade quilt along.  I will do the birds when I get my machine back.  Hopefully that will be on Saturday.

Such a sweet turtle, and the house blocks are so nice. I'll do them later this week.

Oh Hetty, your little house blocks are so cute and bright. The turtle tuned out good too. I must get moving on that one.

Ha, even when I think I'm sewing fast, I don't accomplish as much as you, dear Hetty!

Oh, Hetty! You said you hadn't done much, but look at you - working on 3 projects. Great stuff, Hetty. A cute turtle, even cuter itty bitty houses and a spinning galaxy of hexies. Love it!

I just went to the elephant parade link. I think I 'have' to make that as charity quilt. Adorable! I have the solids, so why not ...
