I have spent the last few weeks making a quilt for a friend. She is having some issues and no one should have to deal with those without a quilt. Several weeks is a long time. I know! I had to deal with many obstacles. My machine needed help. It was in the shop more than here at home. Not once, but twice. It still isn't working the way I would like it to, but for now it is okay.
I made the quilt using my Kaffe Fassett stash. I love his fabrics. They are so inspirational.
I also used the quilt-as-you-go method. I have no room to lay out a quilt in my little studio and I
didn't trust my machine to quilt it properly.
But now it is done! Just need to make a label and then I can move onto other things.

Gorgeous bright colors! They'll be perfect for your friend.
Beautiful quilt! I really like the gray frames. They work so well with the Kaffe fabrics. Thanks for sharing with Oh Scrap!
