Tuesday Morning Group

Day 5 of Blogtoberfest. My quilt group meets on Tuesday mornings. I wasn't able to ride my scooter over there because of the rain, but one of my good quilting buddies picked me up. We meet in a local church. Everyone works on whatever they want. This is also a time to get other people's input as to sashing colour and block layouts etc. There were nine of us today. The table was overflowing with projects. I was busy putting some hexies together and drinking coffee and eating butter tarts. I'll show you the flowers tomorrow. Sorry, no butter tarts. They were all gone by the time we left.

I was only able to take two photos. I don't know why. I should have taken more. There were lots of photo opportunities, but I seem to have missed them. I also promised I wouldn't put any names on my blog. Here is the first photo of two quilters trying to decide which fabric to use for the sashing on a friendship quilt.

These women are playing with the layout of some blocks for a baby quilt.

It is good to get out with my quilting buddies every week. It's a way to stay connected and socialize and maybe get a bit of quilting done.

A weekly quilt club sounds wonderful, it’s great to have feedback on projects!

It sounds great, to have such a meeting once a week and sharing ideas and opinions.

Nothing like being in a quilt group.
