Winter!

It's the first day of March and I think winter has finally arrived.  There was snow on the ground this morning, even though the weatherman said it was going to rain.  And it is still snowing.  I think this is the worst weather we have had all winter.

Needless to say I will be staying indoors today.  I have to work on my 'The Queen and her Court' quilt.  I am way behind on that one.  My next class is on Saturday and I want to be caught up by then.

ha ha, speaking of Mother nature being confused! I remember one year when my husband was in Calgary for business and we had snow at the end of March... so...

We got snow today, too. Then it turned to rain and is still raining/snowing -- wintry mix. I agree this has been the strangest winter. I don't mind though after the awful one we had last year. I think we were due for a reprieve :)

happy quilting :)

I think everyone finally got some snow this past week or two. I heard that the snow dump we got a couple of days ago was the amount of all the snow we got last year. It did seem like a lot of shoveling. lol, 4 hours!!
