A Bright Spot in my Garden

This wonderful yellow/green spot in my garden is Euphorbia! I just love this plant and I always look forward to it's bright colour at this time of year. Euphorbia belong to a very interesting Genus of plants. The yellow 'flowers' you see are really bracts and not true flowers, although the plant does have unisexual parts. They are just very small. I have featured this plant on my other blog. I started that one in an attempt to keep track of the plants in my garden.

I guess I just like to be organized! Organized? Oh, wow! Did I say that?

Two blogs!!! wow... and now I'm following both of them. Love the euphorbia. I didn't realize poinsettias were in the euphorbia family. One of the most incredible things I saw in Hawaii when I went there 20+ years ago was poinsettias growing wild. It was one of many incredible things I saw in my visit to the Islands.

Good post and I like the new blog.
