I decided to enter CalGal's Pets on Quilts. It isn't difficult to find a photo to use because every quilt I own has had a cat on it. So I decided on this photo of Mimi on her own quilt. The fabric in it is mostly cats with a couple of dog pieces thrown in. She knows it's hers and she sleeps on it every day.
And she keeps herself white and spotless.
She also does her daily exercises on it.
And she keeps herself white and spotless.
But my absolute favourite photo is this one - when she did the ironing for me. Such a helpful kitty! I once asked her why cats like to sit on the quilts we make. She is very philosophical and has great insight into all things. You can read her answer here.

LOVE the conversation you had with Mimi!!! It put a big smile on my face. She is definitely putting lots of love in those quilts of yours!
what a lovely kitty...I don't have any pets anymore so I enjoy seeing yours
I love Mimi's philosophy about cats and quilts! Thanks for sharing!!!
What a sweet entry and such lovely
little quilt for Mimi.
Mimi's conversations are great!! :)
She is a very wise kitty! I am glad I have a houseful of cats to add love to the quilts I make!
She is such a pretty white too... my daughter recently fostered a white kitten that I would have loved to adopt but luckily we found him a good home! hehe
Thank you for sharing your great pics

So cute! Thanks for sharing her with us :-)
I love Mimi on her quilt, and her little lounge act is very cute. By the way do you think she would like to come over and do my ironing LOL! Enjoy the weekend.
What an insightful conversation with Mimi! She's such a beauty too.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful and wise Mimi with us! What a wonder she is, and tell her thanks from me and all the other quilters! We appreciate the lesson she's taught us all!
Quilts and Mimi, always lovely to see! Loved to read tjhe wise conversation again! I’m sure cats put the love into quilts!
Mimi's lovely, and doesn't she talk a lot of sense? Thanks for giving me a good laugh.
your quilting helper is so cute, I see she has to put her stamp of approval on all steps of the quilting process.
Mimi is GORGEOUS!!! She is very clever too. LOL!
Oh Hetty, was a smart kitty Mimi is and beautiful to boot. I love her story and I understand better now why our fur babies love our quilts. I must ask Trudy about that.
Your Mimi is so beautiful and a great model for your lovely quilts. I love how she takes such good care of herself on her quilt, and that she works hard helping you quilt. Just delightful. Thanks so much for sharing. Love it!

Such a cute picture.
Hetty, I haven't been able to keep up with the Block Party. In fact - I don't think I ever got around to doing a single block. I feel like I'm cheating - could you remove my link from the side bar? I don't think I should be listed since I'm not participating. Sometimes I think I can do a lot more than I really can.
Thanks! You have a great blog!
Aw, so cute! I think I should make my cats a quilt to sleep on too - great idea :)
Mimi is so beautiful! And so is her quilt. Makes me wish I could quilt for the boys. Only I don't think they'd appreciate my efforts like a girl cat would. ;-)
Such a cute quilt show! Haven't seen any horses on quilts yet - I believe that is potential prize group - would make a novel photo for sure!
I have an all white cat too (except her eyes are blue!!) Yours is so pretty. Just to warn you - mine is 21 and still very active!!
Wonderful and so beautiful. I have two all white cats and the hair seems to be constantly trying to form new cats.
Your cat is so adorable. My cats are always trying to help too and oh the cat hair. It's alot of working keeping up.
Great conversation piece with Mimi. Thanks for clearing that up for us, Dr. Doolittle! Too funny!
Love her exercise routine!

Mimi looks like a good a ironer (I love that picture). She definitely puts the love in.
Too cute! I think white cats are extra special.
I love your conversation to find why cats sleep on the quilts with Mimi. Very creative.
I wish my Tika Kitty would do my ironing - he loooks just like Mimi! People call him a girl all the time - poor guy, I think its the pink ears.
