Spring Can't Be Too Far Away!

Look what I found in my garden this afternoon! It is only the first day of March but these little crocuses are already opening their little blossoms in the warm sunshine! I know that they are growing about a foot (30cm) from the house so they are sort of in a tiny micro-climate, but they make me think that spring can't be far off! And that makes me smile!

WOW I'm amazed they came out even with the sun shining because it has been so cold. I guess the warmth from the house helped them along. This is a good sign!

Makes me smile too and gives me hope that spring is coming.

Our jonquils started busting out a couple of weeks ago and our tulips are coming on and should be blooming before too long. It always helps me to get through the hanging on of winter's last blasts when I see the flowers welcoming spring.

Thanks for sharing a beautiful picture.

Saw these beautiful flowers and started right away to search my garden. Nothing yet. Waiting for more snow to melt. In the meantime I will admire your crocusses

I am so upset that you have such beautiful flowers blooming and all that I have is snow, and a few areas were the brown grass is showing. Well at least you are able to see that Spring is maybe finally coming to visit us. It has been a long Winter and I guess the flowers just couldn't wait any longer. They are very refreshing.
