A Clamshell Update

The summer is coming to an end, although you'd never know it by the weather. We are in the middle of another heatwave. It is only 10:00am and it already feels like 40C! This is unusual for the end of August.

I only got a few clamshells done this month. Here they are. Click on the icon above to see more clamshell blogs.

We had the first executive meeting of our quilt guild last night. I got roped in volunteered to do the Newsletter this year. The only problem is that my computer is not cooperating. I have had several people come over and try to install the program, but so far I have had no luck. I thought the problem lay with me, but it seems that my computer's disk drives are not working. I may have to break down and buy a new computer.

These are wonderful Hetty. I love the different fabrics. We have cooled down here, today it is very rainy and cool... a taste of what is to come.
Try and stay cool,
x

The shells look beautiful Hetty. It does not matter how many you make. The main thing is that you enjoy it.

I love the colours, and are those asian-themed fabrics? I really like the way you've arranged the colours.

It's delightful! The pink rows make it look like lovely waves of color.

Hetty, they are so gorgeous!
I love how you intersperse the pink and grey shells.
What lovely work...
and I do wish your computer woes would end soon...
Back to school time really is the best time to get good deals on a new computer! But I hope the problem can be fixed simply.
hugs from Cyprus, where it is still HOT,
