A Completed Section on Wednesday

We've been having a few nice days.  I was able to get a few things planted.  Today is again a wonderful, cool, sunny day.  Ideal for putting some colour into my garden.

My hexagon 'wannabe quilt' is getting bigger. I have finished another section.  This adds some nice colour to my garden.  Don't you agree?  The yellow 'flowers' in the background are Euphorbia.  I put 'flowers' in quotation marks because they are not real flowers, but in fact are bracts - leaves that are yellow.

Now I am off to the garden centre on my scooter.  I want to buy some geraniums (Pelargonium) for the pots by my front door.

It's finally a nice afternoon here in Cape Breton, too. No wind, yay! Love how your hexie quilt is turning out. Keep up the good work! ~karen

Your wanna be quilt is starting to look really good! I love how the centre looks almost like a snow flake, then the flowers around it. makes sense for Canada!
And I am super jealous that you have a scooter, I want one and the hubby will not allow it. Probably for the best the way people drive here - but it doesn't stop me wanting one!
