July 1, 1997 - February 10, 2014
We lost our sweet kitten, Mimi, today due to age and heart problems. She passed away peacefully as I held her in my arms. Gone now but not forgotten. She was the best furry feline we ever had. My heart aches. There is no way to describe the sadness and pain I feel right now. But at least Mimi is no longer suffering. She can breathe easily now as she romps and plays with her furry friends in the cat here-after. Farewell, Mimi. We will always love and miss you.

Dear Hetty, I’m so sorry for the loss of Mimi. My heart aches for you, as I know how you loved her and will miss her.
Take care dear friend, Mimi is probably talking ‘quilts’ with Midas now on the rainbow bridge.

Perhaps you can make a quilt in her honour.

Oh dear....now it is my turn to offer you condolences .... it takes a lot of courage to say goodbye .... but still it is hard. Quilting helped me a lot.

Mimi was definitely a great cat and a ray of sunshine to you everyday. I'm sure everyone enjoyed her quips and seeing her as a regular guest on your blog. She will be very sorely missed.
Take comfort that you were able to give her such a terrific life for as long as you did, I know that she loved and appreciated you always.
As a fellow cat lover, take it from me, each day with a great cat is like a little slice of heaven.
