Back in the Saddle Again........

My sewing machine is fixed! It's good as new and purring away like a kitten. ("Meow!") Oh, sorry Mimi. You're right, kittens purr way nicer! But my machine is back in my sewing room and I'm back in the saddle again!!!

I have some catching up to do, but not too much. I finished the Friday Block Party's block for week #22. It's called Starflower. I started it on another machine, making the half square triangles, and finished it on my Bernina. The old machine I was using last week did not give me the right seam allowances so I decided to wait until I got my machine back to finish it.

I did it in these colours because I was inspired by the colours in my garden. This is my perennial geranium, known as Cranesbill.

I am so glad that you got your machine back and that you are caught up with the Friday block party...I still have 16 to go...but not rushing it.

Love the purple and green star. So vibrant. Glad your machine is back and running well.

Ahh my heart is warm. I needed to know you had your machine back.

I really love your creativity here. Going to the garden floral. That's something my cousin the Painter, Guy, does. The ability to see color in nature and recreate it. That's simply the height of "it" if you ask me. I'm not nearly that versatile. Oh, I have gifts but that's not one of 'em. ;)

I am so glad that your machine is back home where it belongs. I can see that you are wasting no time at all using it again.
