I got a call from my daughter today. She wants to 'buy' a baby quilt from my quilt closet. The only thing is, I have no baby boy quilts right now. So here's what I plan to do. In keeping with my scrap obsession at the moment, I am going to scrap piece some blocks and combine them alternately with jars of bugs and other creepy things. It's got to be done in 2 weeks. Do you think it will work?

Yes you will, it’s going to look wonderful!
You are so clever...
That will be one amazing quilt for a little boy :)
Absolutely. I'm keeping Jelly Roll Race quilt tops on hand for those things right now.
This definitely will work, little boys and bugs never go out of style. The red and blue pieced blocks fit in perfectly with a boys theme.
That's a great idea and it will scream "little boy", too!
You can do it! (If you run out of bugs, you can jar some candy or veggies too.)
it'll definitely work. you can do this!
looks real nice. i love the jar part
Arg, two weeks? I have some lizard and frog fabric. It should only take a week to get to you if you want some? You could even fussy cut out from critters to applique on? Let me know and I will send you some of each.
hugs,
Carolyn
